On the way to Aguas Calientes there are things too to discover by the railroad(Perú)

Die Bahnstrecke Ollantaytambo-Aguas Calientes. Wir sind in einem Tagesmarsch entlanggewandert, um uns die überteuerte Zugfahrt zu sparen. The railroad Ollantaytambo-Aguas Calientes. We did it in a day-hike because we wanted to save the money from the way-too-expensive train ticket.

Arequipa,die "weisse Stadt",Peru. Sieht aus wie Jerusalem. Oder zumindest so,wie ichs mir vorstellen wuerde. Arequipa, the "white city" in Perú. Looks like Jerusalem to me, at least how i would imagine it to be.

Oben^. Das ist der berühmte Adlerhorst oder die Kehlsteinhütte, die Relax-Chill- und über Genozid-nachdenk Ferienresidenz des kleinen Österreichers, der die Welt erobern wollte.

Above^. The (in-)famous Eagle's Nest or Kehlstein-Hut, Hitlers' domicile in the alps where he relaxed, maybe did some unholy things with Eva, drank Beefeater with Himmler and thought about genocide.

Oben + Unten. Nach der Grundausbildung war Sackkratzen angesagt. "De Dähng", das Ding, wie die furchterregend ekelhaft stinkende Topfpflanze liebevoll getauft wurde, half mir dabei.

Above and below. After the fundamental training it was basically over. In duty we played Playstation games, slept, played cards, some even drank but me, i tried to get into a conversation with this plant called lit. "tha Thang", the smelliest green little fellow that i ever met in my life.

Oben + Unten. Als die Waffen ausgegeben wurden war ich natürlich(unverständlich) total verzückt, dass mir das 12 Kilo schwere MG3 anvertraut wurde und dann darf man auch mal posen wie ein Kleinkind.

Above and Below. When they gave out the guns, i was delighted by the duty of beeing the MG-Gunner. Childish but that's it, i was young and needed the money.

Oben und Unten: Ihr seht ihn mit eigenen Augen. Es ist Private Pauler und er schläft mit offenen Augen! Abgesehen von seiner körperlichen Unfähigkeit gemäß dem Filmvorbild war er auch noch ein richtiges Kameradenschwein.

Above and below: You can see him with your own eyes, it's Private Pauler and he's sleeping with eyes open! Holy Shit. Apart from his physical inability, what wouldn't have been bad, he was the worst traitor i've ever had to cope with.
